Each year, CLI sponsors three banquets and brings in a dynamic speaker who once was a prison inmate. In 2017, we invited Bill Corum to our Georgia and Raleigh dinners as keynote speaker.
Bill is also author of his book, The Ultimate Pardon – one of the most commented books we have ever distributed. On the Monday before the dinner, I took Bill to the Polk Correctional Center. When he spoke, about 90 young inmates were spellbound by his testimony. Bill is a prison evangelist – visiting about 100 prisons per year and telling his story of two Bills, one before Christ and one after Christ.

The Raleigh Dinner attracted a record 350 CLI partners.
Below, Bill Gallagher wrote a note card to a random inmate at a CLI dinner. John Haeffele received the card and was able to tell Bill how much his encouragement was appreciated.
The Charlotte Dinner was another great success.
Patrick Brassell was the keynote speaker in Charlotte.
The Georgia Dinner included a skit of an inmate coming to Christ in his cell.
