Chaplains, or acting chaplains, are our primary contact person at each prison or jail. Christian books and Bibles are only sent by a request from the chaplain. Once you are on our distribution list, you should be receiving a box quarterly. Please let us know of any special requests.
Here are a few letters that we have received from prison chaplains:
I want to thank you very much for doing this for the men here and for being so generous! Because they have so much time on their hands while here, having good Christian books to read greatly helps them to grow in their faith.
I wish you could have seen the joy and thankfulness on their faces when they arrived and were put on the literature rack for them to look over.
Once again, thank you so very much for caring about the men here and wanting to help them grow in their knowledge of God’s Word. May our Lord richly bless you for your kindness and continue to provide for all your needs!
I am the inmate librarian at our unit in Louisiana. We have been the fortunate recipient of your labor of love with a number of books being given to us by the chaplain. On behalf of the chaplain as well as hundreds of inmates, thank you very much.
I’ve been here for eight years, and we’ve never had any kind of library, just a couple hundred of old books, mostly romance novels. That was it. Thanks to you and your organization and the help of the chaplain, we now have right at 1,000 books!
This particular detention center has many people who do nothing all day, every day. It’s a great opportunity to enhance one’s knowledge and grow in the Lord through good books.
We’ve received quite a few good books from you. I just wanted to write you and express my appreciation for the good work you guys do.
