Our Mission

Our mission is to glorify God by making disciples of prisoners through Bibles, studies and Christian books.

Through our work in prison ministry, we hope to make disciples in prisons in the United States and around the globe. We know that Christ loves the imprisoned and desires a relationship with them.

Our prison ministry has two primary methods of fostering that relationship: distributing Bibles, Christian Books, and offering a free inmate Bible study lessons.

When inmates begin to build their relationship with the Lord, they are empowered by the Holy Spirit to rebuild their lives. It is our prayer that all inmates find a personal relationship with God and renewal in Christ.
Free Christian Books for Inmates

We distribute free Christian books to prisons. Each of the books we send has been screened to ensure that their content is theologically sound and spiritually edifying.

We rely on the Holy Spirit to ensure that the right books get to right person at the right time. Each of the books that we send are stamped with an invitation to receive free Bible study lessons. If you are a chaplain, sheriff, warden, or correctional officer, you can sign up your facility to receive free Christian books here.

Free Inmate Bible Study

We offer a free Bible Study to any inmate who is interested in learning more about being in relationship with Christ. We have three studies:

  • Who is God?

  • Christian Leadership

  • Disciple of Christ

The free inmate Bible study is written to help foster new believers to maturity.  We hope that through each of the studies, inmates are emboldened to take steps of faith and continue making disciples of those who surround them.  As inmates become disciples, we hope that Christ’s message of mercy and forgiveness spreads throughout correctional facilities, families, and communities.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you...
— Matthew 28: 19–20

We Believe in God

We believe in the sovereignty of the Triune God: Father, Son, Holy Ghost. He is all-knowing and all-powerful. He is also all-loving. He alone is worthy of all praise, honor, and glory. We know that the Bible is the Word of God. In it, we are given commands of how to glorify God and become His disciples.

Through His word we learn the truth of Christ. We know the truth of His perfect life, His death on the cross, and of His resurrection and triumph over sin. We know that the only way to receive salvation is to trust Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.

It is from the commands of Christ and the Word of God that we derive our mission: to make disciples in prison.

... I was in prison and you came to visit me.
— Matthew 25:34

We Believe in Making Disciples

All people are sinners and all people are in need of the grace of Christ. Our mission is to make  disciples in prisons. We want reach the lost with the gospel, teach them to be disciples of Christ, and empower them to continue making disciples in their communities. We achieve this through the distribution of gospel tracts, Christian literature, and spiritually edifying Bible studies.

We believe that through the power of the Holy Spirit, recipients will trust Jesus as Lord and Savior, and He will help them to mature in faith and bear the fruit of the Spirit. We believe that through the transformation occurring inside correctional facilities around the world we will see transformation in the lives of inmates, their families, and their communities.

We Believe in His Leadership

We believe in being completely obedient to God and his desires for this ministry. We believe in the necessity of prayer in our daily lives. We prioritize Scripture as the true Word of God and we seek to share that truth with our friends, families, and community. We follow the leading of His Spirit and allow Him to lead each of us in our personal and professional lives. We rely on Him fully to equip and lead our staff and volunteers so we can continue make new disciples.

We are committed to being His faithful servants. We know that God is loving and cares for us as His humble servants. We are open to the leading of the Spirit. We desire to innovate and grow so we can best serve the Father.
