Prison Alliance exists to glorify God by sharing His love with the incarcerated by distributing donated Bibles, Christian books, and volunteer-reviewed correspondence Bible studies throughout the world.
Volunteers from around the country review completed Bible study lessons from inmates and return them back to the inmate with personalized feedback via mail correspondence. Currently we have students enrolled in our Bible studies in over 2,000 facilities in the US. However, we have the capacity and vision to enroll many more, but we need your help!

More about our program
Primarily, inmates find out about the program through word-of-mouth or by seeing our stamp that's inside every donated book. Once they reach out to us, we send them a "Bible Study Enrollment Form" to begin the process. We also include copies of this form in each shipment of boxes to a facility. Will you help us enroll inmates in your facility by making copies of this form available? Inmates mail in this completed form to begin receiving our Bible studies.
Some chaplains provide an informational sheet or packet to inmates that lists all the ministry opportunities available to them. We would love to be included on a document like this if you have one.
We provide these materials free of charge for jails, prisons, halfway houses, transitional housing, and residential reentry centers. If you would like to start receiving free Bibles and Christian books for inmates at your facility, please fill out sign up here.
